Not every project needs a reason. This one didn't have a brief, a problem statement, or a user I was solving for, I just wanted to keep my hands moving in UI and motion design between client work, so I picked a fitness app as the excuse.

Nearby gyms and classes, personalized workout suggestions, community challenges, activity tracking across cardio/strength/flexibility — none of it is groundbreaking, and it wasn't trying to be. The point was reps: pixel discipline, motion timing, an interface that feels clean without a research deck behind every decision.
